Writing, Editorial & Project Consulting
I shape complex ideas and materials into clear, engaging writing and publications.
When I can help
Complex projects often reach a point where research, ideas, and source material have accumulated, but the shape of the project is still unclear. You may have a manuscript that is not yet working, a body of research that needs to reach a broader audience, a conference rich with ideas that you want to carry forward, or a project whose final form is still unclear.
I can enter at different stages—helping clarify what the project is trying to do, whom it is for, and what form would serve it best; conducting research and interviews; writing or developmental editing; or helping guide a larger editorial process through completion.
Over the years, I have worked with scholars, scientists, educators, contemplative practitioners, nonprofit organizations, and technology companies. The subject matter has varied widely, but the challenge has often been similar: understanding complex material deeply enough to find its structure and make it accessible to people outside the field while preserving its nuance.
